Sorry we missed you for the Angel Capital Summit 2012 application!
Please consider attending the Angel Capital Summit to benefit from the full day bootcamps and to learn the “art of the pitch” by watching well coached companies present their best pitch to investors.
You may also want to come back in the fall for the Colorado Capital Conference, or visit: www.rockiesventureclub.org/pitchyourbusiness.php to apply to pitch at the monthly Rockies Venture Club meetings where 80-125 people gather to hear great speakers/panels and entrepreneur pitches. Every RVC meeting is followed two days later by the RVC Investor Forum where Accredited Investors meet to discuss the deals and collaborate on due diligence and investments.
Thanks!

Entrepreneurs: Submittal Deadline Has Expired for ACS 2012
Instructions and Request for Applications

1) Post Your Plan
Start by posting your business profile on the Business Catapult website, under the Angel Capital Summit 2012 group. You should fill out ALL of the sections of the Business Catapult site, since this is the information our reviewers will be using to choose the best companies to present.
2) Presenter Review
We have over 100 qualified reviewers who will assess the plans and leave helpful comments about their questions and concerns. They will rank the plans and the best will move on and be invited to work with a Pitch Coach. All applicants will be notified of their status by early March, 2012.
3) Pitch Coaching
You will be assigned your own coach who will work with you to make your pitch the best it can possibly be. They will help with your presentation, your powerpoint (if you are using one), public speaking tips and more.
4) Pitch Practice
The week before the Angel Capital Summit, all presenters will have an opportunity to present their pitches in a formal environment with pitch coaches, consultants and other entrepreneurs. The feedback you get will be invaluable and the practice will help you to become comfortable with making your pitch in front of a group.
5) Making Your Pitch
On the day of the event, you will have 25 minutes. The first fifteen minutes will be used for your pitch and the remaining ten minutes are available for questions and audience feedback.
6) Networking and Follow-up
Remember to meet as many people you can on the day of the event. You have many opportunities that extend beyond your pitch presentation. We will have hundreds of people in attendance who can help you with financing, making connections, strategic partnerships and sales.
7) Cost
Unlike other pitch events, the ACS does not charge any fees to pitch. You will receive hours of coaching and feedback and a six month Rockies Venture Club membership, but only need to pay for your entry into the event at the same rate as every other participant, making this one of the most cost effective venues for pitching in front of this many people anywhere. Presenters also receive preference for optional volunteer positions for which entry fees may be waived.
