The Hon. Benjamin Franklin -- inventor, public official and businessman -- will speak at the Angel Capital Summit scheduled for Tuesday, November 17 at the Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

Drawn from retirement, former-Ambassador Franklin will conduct a Town Hall meeting, at which he will discuss the qualities that made him "healthy, wealthy," and wise, and, along the way, relate how these qualities are important to entrepreneurship today -- and bring a unique perspective drawn from his own experience as an entrepreneur and investor.

The conference agenda with times and locations of all presentations has been released. Count on a full day hearing from the best entrepreneurial companies in not only from Colorado, but from New York, Virginia, Georgia, Michigan, Montana, Utah, California and South Africa as well.

The Angel Capital Summit is delighted to announce the companies that were selected to present their business concepts on November 17.

These presenters, 35 for-profit companies and four non-profit organizations, were selected from over 190 applicants. Competition was tight, and there are many strong businesses among those that we simply could not accommodate in one conference. Our congratulations to the presenting companies, and to all applicants.

The Angel Capital Summit received over 190 applications to present – a record number! Over 200 investors and advisors are now screening these deals and working towards selecting the 40 ACS finalists.
