Angel Capital Summit 2016 is Monday, March 14th – Tuesday, March 15th at the University of Denver – Sturm Hall. There will be an investor-only forum on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 15th.

SYNDICATIONAngel investments are almost universally made via syndicates – groups of investors who invest in a company on the same terms.  Syndicates take on many forms ranging from an ad hoc collection of investors rounded up by the company founders to complex syndicates of individuals, angel groups, single purpose investment vehicles, trusts, family offices and venture capital funds.

Founders need to understand syndicate dynamics in order to get their deals done.  Angel investors need to understand who is doing the due diligence, what the processes are and how they will be represented in the syndicate deal.  Needless to say, this is all very important, and it should not be left to chance.

Syndication 2.0 is here to help angels and founders to navigate a more efficient process with well understood steps and standardized due diligence processes.  Angel groups using Syndication 2.0 techniques can make better investments and complete deals faster than we did with old school ad hoc syndication.

Angels and founders should attend the Syndication 2.0 conference to learn the latest best practices in syndication and learn how to mobilize capital across multiple states and to tap into the expertise of people with a broad range of subject matter expertise in order to make smarter and better angel investments.

This year will be our biggest Angel Capital Summit yet with great ideas, great companies and opportunities for different Angel Groups from across the country to invest together.
